TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

 

 

It’s the responsibility of the bride to familiarize, understand and accept responsibility of all the booking terms and conditions.

 

MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

  1. The minimum booking for peak season weddings on Fri/Sat/Sun between April - October is 2x adult hair and makeups OR the equivalent 4x adult makeup or hair (This must include the bride)

  2. Bookings that don’t reach the minimum on peak dates will still be charged at the equivalent minimum cost. Services undertaken on peak season between April and September have a minimum service fee of £480.

 

BOOKING PAYMENTS

  1. A £150 non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure the wedding day. This is  deducted from the final balance due 8 weeks prior to your wedding day. Bookings made with less than 2 calendar month until the event are payable in full upon booking to secure the date.

  2. Number of services can not be reduced after paying your final balance. 

  3. A date cannot be held without a deposit and the requested date will still be open to other enquiries in the meantime.

  4. Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to your wedding date.

  5. You agree that by paying your non-refundable deposit, you are agreeing and accepting to be bound to the terms and conditions.

  6. Failure to make payments within the agreed time frame, may result in the cancelation of your booking.

 

 TRAVEL COSTS

  1. All road travel to the wedding day is charged at 0.45p/per mile (round trip) after the first 20 miles and is worked out using post codes.

  2. Travel is charged at standard 0.45p per mile diesel/petrol or based on train or tube fare or taxi if necessary depending on the start time/accessibility to the venue. Trains will not be booked until the invoice has been paid in full. Travel fare may vary from the initial quotation (eg. train fares increases or additional taxis/transport required on the day)

  3. Any London weddings starting before 7am will be charged a pre booked taxi fare. 

  4. Congestion, toll and parking charges may apply and will be quoted accordingly or where necessary paid in cash on the day.

  5. Destination weddings/events - Ground travel in the UK and in country of destination is required as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the wedding/event (and after if necessary). £150 for each travel day will be applied. (Please get in touch for further information on destination weddings)

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Early morning bookings where the start time is before 6am for any reason, a £100 surcharge will be charged.

  2. Accommodation close to the wedding venue may be required for the night before the wedding if; journey time is over 2 hours one way, the start time is 6am or earlier, or there are other foreseeable events/delay.

 

LARGE BOOKINGS

  1. One or more assistant artists will be required for large bookings under these variations;

    • Bookings that exceed 3x hair and makeups or 6 individual hair and/or makeup services.

    • Where there isn’t enough time for to get everyone ready in the available time frame.

    • If the venue has access time restrictions.

    • To offer a later/more relaxed start time.

  2. The fee to book and secure an assistant artist for the wedding day is £130 per assistant.

 

TRIALS

  1. Trials are offered once the wedding date has been secured with the deposit paid.

  2. Trials are held between 10am and 6pm Monday to Thursday at this postcode: CRO 6JQ.

  3. Weekend trials - Saturday trials aren’t available as these are reserved for weddings. Sunday trials can be booked in low season with a £50 surcharge.

  4. Trials are required for the bride (unless under special circumstances) but optional for the bridal party.

 

IF YOU CANCEL OR CHANGE THE BOOKING

  1. All changes to a booking, need to be made via email and by the bride only.

  2. Payments for work that has already been carried out is non-refundable.

  3. Reservation deposits are non refundable should you change your mind about the wedding date.

  4. Additional services need to be sent in writing a minimum of 3 months prior to the wedding date and can only be accepted if time/resources allow. 

  5. Postponements:

    • A new reservation fee will be needed to secure a new date should you wish to move or postpone your original booking.

  6. Any bookings that postpone to a different year may be subject to a slight yearly price increase.

  7. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking completely:

    • Cancelling within 3 months of the agreed wedding date = 50% of the remaining balance still due by the original due date.

    • Cancelling 1 month or less prior to the wedding day = 100% of the balance still due.

 

IF WE CANCEL OR CHANGE THE BOOKING

  1. In the unfortunate event that we are unable to attend on the day, due to illness or for last minute, unforeseen circumstances all efforts will be made to find an alternative stylist/artist to stand in.

  2. In the unlikely event that we cannot find a replacement artist, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded.

  3. If an assisting artist is needed for large party's and they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances we may ask for an earlier start time to accommodate original numbers, or a refund can be offered on services that have been forfeited.

  4. Amanda Thorell Artistry reserves the right to cancel a booking following a trial, without a refund of the deposit, in circumstances where the the client is uncooperative/makes it difficult to carry out our work or is booked under false pretences i.e for an event or other purpose.

 

IN THE EVENT OF DELAYS ON THE WEDDING DAY

  1. Amanda Thorell Artistry cannot be held accountable in the event of unforeseen delays on the day which are out of their control.

  2. In the event that one or more services are forfeited as a result, no compensation/refunds can be offered if timings over-run.

  3. If you are aware of factors which could delay or hinder our journey, please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our route. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen factors.

  4. No refund or compensation can be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party arriving late to begin our service.

  5. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may be a challenge in any way, it's encouraged for them to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.

 

PRODUCTS / ALLERGIES

  1. The client must inform of any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and afterwards if any sensitivities/problems have been found.

  2. Discounts cannot not be given on services if you want to use your own products on the day. We also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the product.

PUBLICATION 

   1.  The Client agrees that the Stylist may use any photography for publicity purposes including but not limited to, publication on social media pages and the Stylist website. Should the Client not feel comfortable with this, the Client should discuss with the Stylist prior to any imagery being taken.

 

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  1. To carry out all hair and makeup services we will need a minimum of; a cleared table/flat surface to set up on and chair for the client to sit in.

  2. 15 minutes is allocated to set up and be ready in time to start services. If suitable conditions are not provided Amanda Thorell Artistry cannot be held responsible for delays if time is lost due to this.

 

By paying a reservation fee, you are agreeing to and accepting Amanda Thorell Artistry Terms and Conditions stated above.
